Warrior - Mark Foster, A-Trak, and Kimbra

(sadly) just got back from meeting tendy & lalat.
the weather's all nice and stuff, both my parents are sitting at the 'garden' table with my two dogs, and i chose right to mindlessly browse in front of my room, facing the 'garden'.
when i found this.

i was all, "what is this, a Converse commercial?? what's with all the excess shoesexposure?ahahhaha" at first...turned out it was part of Converse's "Three Artists, One Song" project series.ahaha whoops

Woodkid - Iron

a before-bed find.

love the opening taiko beats.

walk off the earth - 2

re-checked my friend's page and found the video he showed us daaaays ago. decided to check out the band in general, and they're good.here's some of my favorite picks

addictive finds

saw this while mindlessly channel surfing (like the video, too bad the live version wasn't too good for the guy in the middle), reminded me of the song my friend Giri played awhile ago which i liked (but forgot about), but sounded kinda different...

...turns out it was a cover for this one. and that it went mainstream a couple of moths ago (Giri must be pissed. he's those guys who refuses most mainstream things.ahahah)

'Kimbra' also rang a bell, and i remembered that my other friend Astrid found her a couple of months ago but forgot all about it (the video was around from a year ago though). i've only listen to some of her songs, but i only like some of them, including this one (i love this one).

pas banget: 'ibu' (Astrid) sama 'anak' (Giri) emang sama aja suka nemu yang oke2.
ahahaha

mindless channel surfing at its best

the corgi stole my heart mid-channelsurf and i literally ran to my room to search for the vid, also gaining another type of surprise online (dammit, i sound like some teenager who saw her new crush's name in the chatting room and takes 2 hours just to say 'hi' while blushing madly).

anyway, music-wise, i've only heard their 'miami to ibiza' song my friend suggested to me, a loyal billboard top 40's fan who never fails to give me new song suggestions (with the same head-splitting generic music these days, i usually turn down 90% of her suggestions.hahaha), and surprisingly this one song is actually not bad.

listen to the 'miami to ibiza' link to get my point if you want.

can't stop watching

ahhh...it just makes me want to dig up my collection of SYTYCD dances.
