though i know it would be best if they didn't prolong this series like others who do it for so long we end up hating the series, it's still sad to actually see it end and that we'll never see this kind of scene again (above).
but it was definitely awesome while it lasted. thanks for the good show :]!
Pacific Place for @america's comic convention...disappointingly there wasn't much to see and the only comic stand was only as a collection display (but, we can become members and buy discounted comics.nice.). So we only stopped by a weaponry store, Go!Curry for lunch and ice cream before heading back to Bangka.
Lazed about and Agus showed us some promising trailers.
This is The End
Spring Breakers
(the only reason why this piece of garbage is here is because we wanted to see james franco all pimped out. seriously kids, titties 24/7? classic.)
-- woke up panicking about mishap on fabric measurements
-- visit to tailor was postponed to tomorrow (better be)
-- goddamn JNE had the nerve to charge me for re-shipping.
i did admit that i didn't insert the destined home number (which, i also did explain that
the last time i sent it there, the receiver got it no problem, on time. but whatever, was
still at fault.) but they didn't call me the minute they found out that they couldn't find
the house--then what's the use if we enclose our own phone number as the sender if it
isn't for any form of confirmation???tolol.-- and the damn package was sent a month
ago. OY.
But as a 'diplomatic' sign of good faith, i offered to pay half-price for the re-shipment.
of course, i still reminded them that they still share the other 1/2 of fault. enak aja.
(seriously fuckin' pissed.obviously.pff-)
-- re-organized junk compartments in room. finally made the final arrangements.
-- got ready to leave to elementary school reunion, until...
-- ...yeah yeah, just like every other Jakarta people moving about today, i (and the rest
of them) had to cancel said plan because of the flood everywhere. but that wasn't
before i tried to reach our meeting point, PIM, first...
got 1st angkot w/o trouble. oh, except that the jackass tried to rip off the usual fee. bitch, seriously?
2nd also. met high school religion teacher who most of us hate but was actually quite civil there. her child, though, i wanted to strangle. going all ''kakak! kakak! [insert some shitty sule joke]! HAHAHAHA!!" cutting her mom's convo with me all through al-izar - rs fatmawati.
stopped for Express taxi at fatmawati who refused me. as it was starting to pour hellish rain. why turn on your vacancy light then you TWAT???
took angkot to lebak bulus terminal instead (contemplating busway to PIM or taxi home? home won.). ngetem nyaris 30 menit, ibu2 sebelah udh protes2 si mas blaga budeg. seriously considered jabbing my umbrella into his ear.
bought gorengan otw down from terminal to get taxi
...still no taxi. bought ginger milk. walked further down.
...still no taxi. bought jamu kunyit asem. walked further down.
...still no taxi. walked further down to point square
TAXI!!! (so a total of nearly 45 mins)
-- home sweet home. got hot bowl of soup from mba minah and made the coffee i just
bought at the warung~ -- watched leverage 5 ep 3 & 4 -- dinner -- drew a little -- called ayah -- helped out my friend's letter of approval translation -- yeah ok i really need some sleep now. must make 'rounds tomorrow *blargh*
aaaand this is basically my verdict of 'activities' for the whole month--unless i have more urgent things to do (pff) and he's doing his own shit--until he goes back to aussie. yay~
it was raining. not pouring, drizzling. with evened out grey clouds. favorite black light baggy t-shirt with its yellow sketchy palm tree. white high school softball pants. left knee stained with grass and dirt, a little ripped. a practice session. cold bat heavy over left shoulder. reversed position, hitting inward the diamond. first hit. a satisfying thwack noise. some of the guys on my left turned their heads. and then the coach said, "move further back guys, we have a power hitter!" and they all moved back simultaneously. one of the best moments in my life.
