(sadly) just got back from meeting tendy & lalat.
the weather's all nice and stuff, both my parents are sitting at the 'garden' table with my two dogs, and i chose right to mindlessly browse in front of my room, facing the 'garden'.

i (apparently) have always thought that we'd always talk about our current shitty batch of problems every time we meet after a long time. honestly, sometimes i actually dread these meetings because i still sometimes feel that i don't 'contribute' to my batch of stories, while the other two do because sometimes i just don't feel like it. and then i remember that they sometimes also feel the same way, so it's all good.

turns out it's not always like that, and that we'd meet to just have fun and talk about anything but our problems, and its nice.
again, i'm very happy that we're the kind of people who can be like that.
kind of like a reminder for myself that we don't have to tell others about everything all the time (my personal favorite mode), anytime i get into that oh-my-god-they-suggested-that-i-should-open-up-myself-more-and-rant-ok-i'm-telling-anyone-i-encounter- mode (yes, i do understand that we do need to rant at times, else we'd explode. but we have to be able to read the situation of the 'listening' party as well)
a reminder on how to balance the two.

yes, i'm slow about learning things like that and i'm happy that i don't mind about it.

i know i should feel bad, but honestly all i feel is...bliss.
and numb.
but calm.
if that's even possible.

and as much as i hate the self-conflicting situation presented, i don't wish for it to be undone.
my gut's practically shrieking trying to get me to stop, but i can't, not now.
i need this.
but i'm also afraid that this thing--one of the things out of my 'most need' life batch--that i need most would end up being one of my downfalls for breaking that one crucial principle i swore to keep no matter what the situation, creating a fucking domino effect that will make me have to start over from square one.again.
and, again, i cannot go back to that fucking square.

also, i live in a box.
i hate living in a box.
because the thing with boxes and myself is that i get satisfied too easily, and when i finally find out of the better things i could have gotten outside said box, i'd get embarrassed and then turn into this shallow shallow bitch and end up 'discarding'--yes, i might even go as far as erasing all connections in my life with said party--the people i get involved with/situations i get myself into.and i do not want to end up discarding said party.
so besides that stupid box, there's that inevitable reaction to despise also.

re-watched Disney's Brave trailer today from my "The Help" dvd this morning and remembered i wanted to post this thing:

so apparently 2012's movie weapon of choice is the bow and arrow.

watched.Hawkeye's execution was devine.

haven't watched.meant to read the book ever since stumbling upon this years ago on fan-made crossovers with harry potter and percy jackson (usually hunting for awesome pic's on deviantart).intrigued by that catchy name 'Katniss'. only found out about the storyline when the movie came out this year.
talk about 'dedication' on my reading plans.hahaha

4) Arrow (tv)
remembered finding this while on a browsing rage after watching The Avengers.though sick of the over-used concept of turning basically anything into a more 'gritty' and 'dark' style--mostly comic books, because apparently comic books in general are perceived as 'childish' and 'geeky' (i blame most of the tacky costumes they come up with.ahaha)--i'm still going to watch the pilot.i'm a softy for superheroes movies.

5) Revolution (tv)
same with this one: the cast's look is so stereotypical as what tv series's promo ensemble poster looks like for the past years (...ok that sentence structure is fucked up. to tired to care now, i'll fix it later so shush).
everyone looks the same--good-looking and unnaturally clean & prim for this kind of plot. but i saw the trailer, and like Arrow, will watch the pilot (at least).

The Avengers

-again, NOT a public movie review, so sorry if anyone ends up here by accident-
just realized that Iron Man was put up front when Captain America is the leader. guess Iron Man's more popular the the Cap'n. meh, marketing strategy.

moving on.
everyone got awesome moments--the one when you can't decide which character is the coolest because the next character's scene keeps on outshining the first and so on--but a bit weird that Thor was out-shined, being a god and all.

the fight scenes were fight scenes.
meaning thank god they didn't feel that they had to slow-mo every single fight scene.
so the blow-by-blow impact was sweet.

I didn't think Thor had some humor
Captain America still delivered
Iron Man too
Hulk.was beyond awesome.
Hawkeye too.i want his arrow pack and i'm even an arrow person.
Black Widow wasn't just a piece of ass.i want her blades and the Chitauri blade-slash-laser staff she used at the final battle.
Maria Hill was too nice.
And Mr. Stan Lee at the end cracked the heck out of me (*scoffs* "There's no such thing as Super Heroes!").

All in all there were veeeerry little things to protest about; i was all sparkles and squeals, smacking and punching my friend (and vice versa) all the while when the best parts were up; but wished i got a more active crowd--instead of the mba2 next to me whose legs kept vibrating the seats and didn't stop even when i kicked her chair several times, also the annoying girls next to my friend who did the classic nonstop''ohmygod whatsgoingtohappentoironman??? *annoyingsqueal/laughs*" noisy comments and BBing-- so i could 'respond' my ass off while watching (got out a "HULK SMASH!!!!!" tho :}).

I am so watching for the second time.and considering a third time if i snap and have enough budget to spare.hoho

of course, looking for the poster leads to an all-things-related browsing frenzy, so, yeah my eyes are tired now.can't resist premiere night.

the empty lot next door

there are two ways for me to get out from my compound:
1. through the ally next to the mosque, 3 houses down, short walk along Jl. Venus, and wait for the angkot at the main street.
2. through the empty lot right next 'door' to my house to get to the main road that seems, i have no idea how, closer then the first route, naturally becoming my favorite route.

now for the past 2 months of so, a wall was built so i couldn't pass anymore. but because my neighbor told me that the wall's temporary, i decided to take a peak today.
and voila! someone placed a makeshift ladder in front of the wall
now, i wasn't the brave little tomboy kid who used to climb trees as a kid--i did barbies like the little generic byul i was.shut up.--but i was feeling rather lazy to go through the first route (lots of people, wasn't in the mood) so i climbed over, expecting to have to jump a little across the other side, but hey, found another little gem instead
i've never been more happy to see my peoples definite feel of self-righteousness put to play the land belongs to someone else--obviously--but hasn't been developed since i moved here for more then a year ago, thus, resulting in trespassing from their side...and mine. but i'll stop when it's officially in development kok :p!

i mean come on, this road has the best feel to boost up my hey-it's-morning-lighten-up enthusiasm.i call it therapy.ahaha
