re-checked my friend's page and found the video he showed us daaaays ago. decided to check out the band in general, and they're good.here's some of my favorite picks

the extra pack

met up with tendy today at gandaria city after a (brief) trip to Inacraft. 

briefcases, lamps, and catching up left me exhausted but relieved (thanks again, man). 

took tendy to the taxi stop then went off to meet up with my mom at ace hardware while trying to find something to eat, with little to no options left (it was around 9pm, closing time).

tried my luck at lotte mart, went to the sushi booth to find....a "buy 1 get 1" sign. 

grabbed two packs, gave it to the guy, and then he said "here, since it's closing time i'll give you one more" and even offered to give me another two more if i buy one more pack. 

said ''no, thanks'', still grinning my ass off (even shrugged off the fact that it was supermarket quality sushi--thick ass slabs of rice--and that it was mostly there the whole day). 

thank you super market guy for giving me an extra slab of happiness after all that :j

oh god what have i done?

i forgot how fun it is to cook

even though i'm not a pro, and my 'menu' hasn't evolved much because i lack experimentation (aka too lazy.haha), it's one of the few things that can make me not think at all and i enjoy it so :)

...yeah i suck at food arrangement and 'food photography'.
hahaha ANYWAYS, it's cilantro & mushroom pasta; john dory with garlic cream sauce;
and sesame & butter spinach.
the fish was too oily, will work on that some other time (when i care enough to.haha)~

the past 2 weeks

has been quite a blur.
i'm still weirded out by the fact that seorang Diandra can be that hectic.
me, the least ambitious out of my closest friends.

am still in limbo trying to figure out what i really want and this gets in the way of work (i try my best not to mix personal things with my work, so yeah this pisses me off for 'losing' to it).
most of the time i feel drawn in whenever i see a friends' progress in terms of 'doing what they're most passionate about'.
'drawn in' as in 'hey, i'm also interested in that to! so it is do-able...' or 'oh crap, is what i'm doing now really what i want?' to 'is it really the time for me to 'experiment' at this stage of my life?' even till 'do i still have the luxury of time itself?'
all that combined with the realization that i am finally finally a fully graduated student and the guilt that i know i'm not suppose to think like this anymore at this stage.

like i've said over and over again: i take longer then most people to progress.
have i really accepted this, i don't know and it frustrates me.

honestly, until this moment i still don't think i'm worthy enough to have that title...yet.
i'm happy and all that i can make my parents proud of my said achievement, but there's still something that nags me, this 'unfinished business'-feel.

hope this ends soon, and when it does, i won't be back at square one again.

Geng Deal 3

salmon crispy (salmon, crunch, cream cheese) and one of the shitty ones.

Giri invited me to one of his 'Geng Deal' 'gathering' with Pay, Galih, Rale, and Nanda.
Deal = some internet promo where we can get discount coupons for all sorts of food.
For this promo, we got an all-you-can eat for fusion rolls at Poke Sushi for Rp. 99.000,-.

Sounds familiar?
Iya Yu, Lit, ini yang sama persis kaya yang waktu Poke di Crown Plaza.ahahahhaha

His timing couldn't be better though: I was seriously craving for some sushi so much I ignored my last terrifying encounter.
We went there for dinner after work and still had about 2 hours.
First off we ordered rationally: one dish of each type to sort out the shitty ones.
Then when the good ones were sorted out, with the threat of time...things got ugly.

We 'panicked' even before we each checked out our watches (we only had 30 mins down), then everybody started to order everything without re-checking with the others.
With 45 mins left we had 3 crunchy salmon, 2 spicy crunchy salmon, 1 unagi thing, and 2 shitty things someone thought to try at such an inconvenient hour.

Oh yeah, we finished them all, bellies all firm and perfectly round with bits of barf-threats, (this time I didn't) no worries. A couple of bathroom trips helped a bit.
But this just reminds us that,
1. you still can't take it for granted that just because there are more players and just because they're all guys doesn't mean that they can vacuum everything all the time. and
2. to always always order wisely. do not let your eyes do the thinking.

hahahahha
But all in all we had a good time :]

new dvd stash

sudden urge to watch a light chickflick last night. first one after a long time.
wasn't as i expected (both in a good and bad way).

finally tried out the series. couldn't stop watching until the second CD (there's 4). wanted to go on but i started having a headache from watching non-stop.ahahaha

hope the next 3 seasons will be as good (or better!) as this one~

**just realized that Rose Byrne is in both movies. was interesting to watch her in very different types of movies
