because of my pra-TA assignment, i had to search for my lecturers full names and so on. i think they modified the website because it actually looked decent for a university website :p.haha.
anyway, after reading all their profile and area of practice, i've developed a renewed respect for all of them and how cool they really really are.
1. me and litya had a 'meeting' for our souvenir division, and because of that, i had to open my wind18witch email (which i haven't opened in,like, forever). but because of that i found an email from my childhood friend, Jennifer :D :D! and, just now, out of curiosity, i checked the last time we sen each other emails, and it was on January 30th,2009. exactly one year from today.
and me and saskia filled out the form for nari bali, and for some reason, we discussed the date for a period of time, because it's her monthversary with her boyfriend.
january 30 2010 = january 30 2009
2. shuffled saskia's ipod and first song that came out wasSade,"smooth operator". i was changing channel and foundSade,"smooth operator" just half an hour ago.
these days my mum has provided me a lot of amusements regarding 'connections' (but i forgot them all, so it's not on this blog.hahaha). today's was : 1. she left some old movie called Switchback on that had jared leto in it. a couple of minutes later i was flipping channels till i got channel V, and there was 30 secondsto mars, which i haven't seen in a long time.
2. she left the golden compass on, starring nicole kidman and daniel craig. 2 hours ago, she was watching The Invasion, again, starring nicole kidman and daniel craig
3. AND JUST NOW while i was double checking if The Invasion was really played by them, i found out that nicole's birthday is on june 20th. previously i was listing famous people who shares a birthday month with me in june AND yesterday i found out that ijah's birthday is on june 20th.
no.no.no.nonononononononoooooo i can't believe it has come to this method for my budget problems. out of EVERYTHING, why do i have to use this one???? but on the other hand, i was stupid enough to not use it since ages ago.though i really wish i could do this purely because i love doing it, i have to seriously pursue tari bali for it once more. gaaahh..
i still can't believe i've realized this from her and her stupid status.babi.
*ironically, i was just telling hinge that i was going to find a way to cover my own budget to go to san diego next july, so i don't have to ask money from my parents :p
**so this is why He gave me a KP place in jakarta instead of in bandung (just yesterday i was mooning over why couldn't just fight for the damn KP in bandung, so i can continue to play softball. turns out it's for this. i thank You deeply.)
..........what is it exactly that i'm scared of? i have absolutely no idea. all i know is that i have always dreaded that bubbling nameless fear that always rises inside of me, bothering me, and those around me affected by it (through me). it fucking pisses me off that i don't know the main cause of one of the 'things' that bothers me the most, and i hate not knowing the reasons of those useless 'things' that effects me the most.
i just got back from arranging my book & manga collection with Ijah (my,sorry to say, helper), because while playing with Manson together, i remembered that i lend her my Animorph book and asked if she had read it, and to my surprise she even added that she went on to read the rest of my Animorph collection. i got really hyped (can't believe i wrote that.hahaha), i ended up asking about if she had read other series then Animorphs and she said 'no'. so we ended up raiding my boxed books to sort out recommendations for her, and to, well, tidy up.hahaha :p.
i ended up recomending even sastra books i forgot i had and some mangas. i told her to urge Rini (my other helpers' kid sister) to read too.
movie poster and some movie stills i happened to stumble upon. coincidentally some of my favorite scenes :D
just realized that this is one of those old movies that i always always watch every time there's reruns on tv.this is one out of a few that i never get sick of. PLUS, another realization: turns out i've had an interest in softball/baseball long before i even started playing (in high school).how fun..hahahaha
today i woke up face down with a sheet of hair on my face, only to enjoy a whiff of Body Shop's Olive Glossing Shampoo on it......only to then dread the greasy limp chunk of hair i usually end up, no matter what kind of shampoo i use in this humid of a town, jakarta...DAMMIT. oh and another thing, why i love imported body bath stuffs? because the fragrance actually STAYS ON for a long period of time. such as my friend's Bath and Body Works, Black Amethyst foaming shower mousse :
because i was looking for pictures for the post before, i just realized how much i really like avocados. especially because it's so pretty.muahahahaha~ so i ended up saving other avocado related pics :p
so i finally made le guacamole & salsa and watched (in my case, re-watched) Pelham 123 with me mum. LOVE guacamole.with LOADS of cilantro~~ hohoho.
oh,and Ndut had this brilliant idea to make ice lemon tea with the extra lemons i bought and with batang sereh (no idea what it's called in byul)!sweetneee~ss
i think my mom's having that 'i shall be healthy' period again, so that every day there's juice and fresh fruit, peeled, and stored in the fridge as a night snacks for my mom (though she claims she doesn't eat at night (juice and fruit only), she uses me as an excuse when i'm in jakarta, for an 'exception' so she can eat dinner with me...if she makes it home earlier then 10pm.hahaha).
so today's menu was manggis and avocado (beated up with a blend of nescafe coffee, gula jawa and carnation skimmed(?) milk/susu kental manis. very very good.). plus, i got some fruit-choosing 101 from Ndut on how to choose the right manggis and avocado.yay :D
i.LOVE.the color combination of those two fruits.didn't get the real pic fast enough before the skins were thrown away, and i just had to post it anyway,so i browsed.nahahahahah *curang*.
in just a mere half an hour, i have stuffed my face with:
snow shite & choco loco. 1. i'm not a big doughnut fan 2. i would never combine the two.much less eat both at the same time. 3. i've been having doughnuts for 3 days in a row
bola-bola tepung with powdered sugar+cinnamon powder forgot that i requested Ndut to make these for me (so i got the doughnuts :p) ate 4 1/2 in one gobble.
(written on tuesday, 19 jan 2010.backtrack yow.nahaha)
today i took Manson to the vet and found out that my veterinarian is a hardcore COSPLAY FANATIC.it was all :
doc : (explaining all things Manson) moi : (staring at 2 naruto action figures on his desk--1 gaara, 1 sai-- thinking innocently 'ah lucu banget ditinggal anaknya!') doc : ada lagi? moi : dok, itu punya siapa ya *tunjuk*? doc : punya SAYA moi :(bengong) ah serius lo????? doc : eh, beneran! saya sering banget n suka banget ikut cosplay. malahan kebanyakan pasien saya juga cosplayers, jadi lumayanlah, kalo lagi kesini bawa peliharaan, sekalian kita ngelatih bahasa jepang gitu.hahahaha moi : whoaaaa...
terus get this, when i went on about how i wanted to learn japanese, and if he had any recommendations on any specific easy learning English-Japanese dictionary's, and you know what he did? he took his car keys and got it for me from his car outside. how cool is that?? hahaha, what an unexpected surprise :E.
so where was i? o yeah, avocados.on impulse while accompanying Ndut to superindo, i had a sudden urge to make guacamole, courtesy of them alluring corriander/cilantro/wansui laying about (dammit). surprisingly,i got the only 3 good ones after a couple of minutes going around squishing avocados, AND with 2 other people doing the same, but to no avail (one of them adalah uncle-uncle muda yg aga 'uuu~'.HAHAHAHAH salah lo Lit, salah lo :p)
then we went to get Manson's poop scooper and his cookies~ the packaging is so cute!
i was planning for dvd night n nachos with my madre tapi gagal, gara2 that night i went out with Saskia. ooh! we went nari bali! we got Saraswati - Panji Semirang - TRUNAJAYA - Puspawresti - Cendrawasih - and Siwa. words cannot express how much i adore the dance in red above. it is.the most coolest and hardest level of balinese dance, and i am proud to say that i have passed that level :). but because i haven't properly danced in 4-5 years, sadly, i got a little rusty. but me and Sas vowed to perfect it--breathing, stance and all-- so that we may be worthy of the title "Professional Balinese Dancer" *tssssaaahhhh* even though going to sanggar puspita meant 'meeting' certain unwanted people, but it was worth it. i'm still gonna dance anytime i can.
then we went to pacific place for some grub and i finally got my damn snow white doughnut (yesterday i got choco loco). we ate at Ramen 38 XD! then browsing about at aksara, then Sas wanted some muffins so we went to that muffin place near kemchicks, across Ya Kun Kaya (?) where i got coffee (my third one.i think i'm seriously addicted.ooh! all different! kapal api-cinnamon nescafe-and kopi-C). then Sas suddenly realized, 'dra, kpn2 if we just want to lounge around cheap,we could just go here! for muffins and coffee!' genius.
then we went home at about..10ish? and i got a call from her mom. i'm gonna have a talk with her one day about this,so her mom doesn't call me again.
buuutt...all in all, it was a pretty good, pretty random day :j
(written on saturday,16 jan 2010) so yesterday was like, my 2nd 'outing' in searching for a consultant to do my internship, plus, a meeting with a representative from Vivere.and oh jolly, my day started with a shock at my garage.i was supposed to ride this :
my mom's trusty offices' white karimun. WHITE.KARIMUN. can it get any gay-er? thank god my mom said to trade cars with her.
then otw to vivere i saw this amusing piece : nahahahaha owyeah *jempol*~
...AND, while mindlessly looking around the area (in traffic.ugh), there was a tabloid with the headlines "Pasha menggandeng Cathy" and i thought 'hahaha, oia si ADNAN mirip banget ma pasha' then 1 metre i came across this : TASYA. TASYA is ADNAN's sister.how cool is that *grins*?
when i got home, i realized an additional addition to my 'connecto' findings just last morning : (the ones in the morning only included the gradation from the bottles) gradasi biru - hijau
Hadori is one of the highly recommended Sate Kambing (goat satay) places in Bandung (but this was the restaurant next to it, because the place was full. same thing tho). I knew about this place from my parents who're big fans of it since their college years, or even far before that.
Anyways, Galih, as usual, has asked us out to dinner, and sure enough it was to Hadori. but a new thing for me to try was their Sumsum(?). so I had 1/2 portion of sate, and 1/2 portion of sumsum, and i loved it.
But apparently someone else loved it more: Moko. The boy finished his whole portion and Aya's leftovers.
