mom = Dexter's girlfriend in "Dexter"
daughter = Danielle Panabaker's sister (been wanting to see her on screen for a while)
brother = crrapp, i've seen this kid before......*wiki* ah! he was on 'Shorts' and the kid i the Flash costume in 'Daddy Day Care'!
so, with my friend's statement broken (she told me that the cast was full of new faces we don't know of.wrong), i tried watching it yesterday.
the dvd has 4 discs with 5 episodes each.
I am now continuing to watch episode 6 as i write.
i was offered to get this dvd by the mba2 dvd last time i wet dvd-hunting, but refused in fear that my superhero fantasy will be ruined in shame by this unknown new series.
but then my friend introduced me to it, and despite my skepticism of my friend (known to eat up all kinds of genre, regardless how good or bad it really is), as the superpower-sucker i am, i borrowed her dvd's. and liked it.
i was kind of surprised to find
1. it didn't take them a painfully long time to believe they had superpowers.
2. nice touch, the parents automatically have trusted confidants to confide in. lucky them. and both are super geeks.hahaha nice.
3. oh wow, 5 episodes and no sex scene? amazing.
hot damn, this is a real family-friendly tv series!!!!! WOW
of course there were bad critiques everywhere about the show sucking (even CANCELLING the series. seriously, frickin 90210 got cancelled then revived for a second season and this doesn't????)....
and the mom is quite the typical movie bitch sometimes (it's obvious that she was in the wrong but then uses her 'right' to defend herself by justifying her actions and shifting blame on her husband AND having the last word. my friends say i'm sort of a feminist, but even i can't condone this.we need to fix the 'emancipation'/girl power/whatever it is that makes these bitches bithces.)....
then there's--HEY! isn't that.....BELER???!!!! OMG IT'S BELER!!! this guy went from this (extremely fucked up) down-on-luck 'hero' in "The Collector", to a villain assassin with telekinetic powers!! Revenge of Beler :D!

as my friend Wibi said, "be good with an introvert person".
hahahha
BELEEERRR------!!!!
wait, omg, is that....EUH, it's that guy who plays jasper and sokka! geez man, get off my screen.
anyway, point is, even with those negative points, this series is still good for a real light watch for fun and superpower geeks :3!
